[1 month later... no response from the Debian maintainer...] Is there any possibility of this patch being included in the Debian package? Without it, netselect-apt is certainly useless as many ftp Debian mirrors do *not* allow traceroute-like probes. I wouldn't mind doing a NMU to fix this bug (and maybe others).
