It's not the first time that something breaks after an openssl
update with no error in openssl itself, but the applications
making use of openssl misusing the API or not following the
documentation at all.  This update for instance also broke
tor (#604198).

But openvpn doesn't even seem to be using tls extetions, so I
see no reason why this update should break anything for openvpn.

In any case, I need more info about what is wrong if you really
think that this is a bug in openssl.  A way to reproduce this
error would be a good way to start.
