Package: gnome-session Version: 2.30.2-3rb Severity: normal Tags: squeeze It seems that the gnome splash screen feature was removed in Debian Squeeze, but the package gnome-splashscreen-manager still exists in the distribution and thus has no effect. It is very confusing. I suggest enabling again splash screen (but not enabled by default if you want) in gnome-session, thus users could still use gnome-splashscreen-manager to get their gnome splash screen.
