Rather, "Use as", which allows you to say that you want to use it. Then you can say where to mount it, and check that "no, keep existing data" is set (by default). It can indeed look a bit odd to have to specify the filesystem type when probing it is quite safe nowadays, and would permit to achieve the actions above in a more intuitive way. > The phrase 'write changes to disk' suggests to me that a new partition table > will be written.
