Well this is problematic:

1. It is hard to detect this situation generally.
2. If it would exit automatically, there would be dozens of bug reports
   why does it crash.

Anyway definition for grave is "makes the package in question unusable
by most or all users, or causes data loss, or introduces a security
hole allowing access to the accounts of users who use the package.".
This situation is definitely not affecting most or all users and also
does not cause data loss nor introduce security hole.

Yes, that's basically what I filed in upstream bugzilla. Feel free to
add your comments there.
