PCM, Master and Digital values are set already in alsa-utils init script. > If you want and need, feel free modify my patch with compatibility purposes > with other sound cards if need defining general standard values (Master, PCM > volume meters for example). Well, I don't want to set all the Capture controls including the Mic ones in alsa-util initscript. This must be done by each individual user itself. I'll set 'unmute_and_set_level "Speaker" "80%"` for the next upload. This is to prevent users conclusing after a fresh install. If you want to save your mixer settings have a look at alsactl(1) or maybe aumix(1) as well. You can experiment with your $HOME/.asoundrc or study http://alsa.opensrc.org/index.php/Main_Page to get an overview of stuff using mixers...... And you will get support from a Debian User List of your choice for sure ;-) Elimar -- Excellent day for drinking heavily.
