retitle 601768 configure scripts abort on error fails (when set) thanks Helge, thank you for your comment. The situation is clear enough for me as maintainer and that's what I think matters most. I appreciate your concern, but 2.4 in testing is not affected. This bug is no longer blocking release. This ticket's status is as it is on purpose, reasons were given, no need to repeat them. I am resetting the title as it's no longer an installation issue.
