Package: halevt
Severity: normal

Hi,

I just uploaded hal 0.5.14-4 to experimental which uses D-Bus
activation. This means, there will no longer be a hal sysv init script,
and you init script will fail to install as it has Required-Start: hal

You have two options:

1.) Remove hal from Required-Start and then bump the dependency on
hal to >= 0.5.14-4 so you can rely on hal being D-Bus activatable.

2.) Change Required-Start: hal to Should-Start: hal
This way insserv will not fail if the hal sysv init script is no longer
present, but use it if available.

Please note, that I won't upload those packages from experimental to
unstable as long as squeeze is released.

So consider this as an advance warning.

Cheers,
Michael
