Package: emacs-snapshot-gtk Version: 20050819140000-1 When opening a file for reading - but worse - when trying to save it, I get the following message: "http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/emacs/emacs/lisp/vc-svn.el is the new canonical location of vc-svn.el, in the FSF Emacs tree."
The workaround is to save the file to some place, where no .svn directory bothers Emacs, e.g. /tmp/, and move the file afterwards.
