I just discovered that this bug cause sysv-rc during upgrades to (incorrectly) believe the boot system need to be converted to dependency based boot sequencing. The reason is that sysv-rc is looking in rc0.d/ for start symlinks, and if any is found it assume that the boot system is using the legacy boot ordering. Raising the severity because it causes problems for the sysv-rc package. Perhaps it should be RC severity? Please try to get a fix included in Squeeze.
