I gave the package a try, and unfortunately, I think that the package is misnamed. It should be called translate. Indeed, the complete translation toolkit is present in the package, but the pootle software is completely useless as is. Indeed, it misses a dependency on jtoolkit ... which is not packaged yet. Without it, it refuses to start. So, this dependency is a bar minimum for pootle, but there is several other packages which should be also packaged to get the full pootle power. See for example on: http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/pootleadmin It would be also great if the pootle server could be started automatically (as a non-root user) at startup.
