Package: udisks Version: 1.0.1+git20100614-3 Severity: important
Hi, Following the updates, when I plug a USB stick the system load rises above 3, dbus-daemon uses 20% CPU, udisks-daemon uses 10% CPU, Nautilus does not open. The USB stick is not accessible. After disconnecting the USB stick gvfs-gdu-volume crash, the load falls below 1, I can open Nautilus, but the mounts are missing. To mount a USB stick I am forced to use palimpsest. Below the syslog message when connecting the USB stick: Nov 11 14:39:03 kernel: usb 2-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4 Nov 11 14:39:03 kernel: usb 2-2: New USB device found, idVendor=0930, idProduct=6545 Nov 11 14:39:03 kernel: usb 2-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 Nov 11 14:39:03 kernel: usb 2-2: Product: USB Flash Memory Nov 11 14:39:03 kernel: usb 2-2: SerialNumber: 0E217670F091497F Nov 11 14:39:03 kernel: scsi8 : usb-storage 2-2:1.0 Nov 11 14:39:04 kernel: scsi 8:0:0:0: Direct-Access USB Flash Memory 5.00 PQ: 0 ANSI: 0 CCS Nov 11 14:39:04 kernel: sd 8:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg3 type 0 Nov 11 14:39:05 kernel: sd 8:0:0:0: [sdb] 1956864 512-byte logical blocks: (1.00 GB/955 MiB) Nov 11 14:39:05 kernel: sd 8:0:0:0: [sdb] Write Protect is off Nov 11 14:39:05 kernel: sd 8:0:0:0: [sdb] Mode Sense: 23 00 00 00 Nov 11 14:39:05 kernel: sd 8:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through Nov 11 14:39:05 kernel: sd 8:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through Nov 11 14:39:05 kernel: sdb: sdb1 Nov 11 14:39:05 kernel: sd 8:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through Nov 11 14:39:05 kernel: sd 8:0:0:0: [sdb] Attached SCSI removable disk Nov 11 14:41:39 kernel: usb 2-2: USB disconnect, address 4 Nov 11 14:41:39 kernel: gvfs-gdu-volume[13435]: segfault at c ip 4a548e67 sp bfd0cf8c error 4 in libgdu.so.0.0.0[4a535000+32000] Nov 11 14:42:17 kernel: usb 3-2: usbfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed cmd hald-addon-usbh rqt 161 rq 1 len 8 ret -110 Regards. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.36 (PREEMPT) Locale: lang=fr...@euro, lc_ctype=fr...@euro (charmap=ISO-8859-15) (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr...@euro) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages udisks depends on: ii dbus 1.2.24-3 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libatasmart4 0.17+git20100219-2 ATA S.M.A.R.T. reading and parsing ii libc6 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.24-3 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.88-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdevmapper1.02.1 2:1.02.48-3 The Linux Kernel Device Mapper use ii libglib2.0-0 2.24.2-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgudev-1.0-0 163-2 GObject-based wrapper library for ii libparted0debian1 2.3-3 The GNU Parted disk partitioning s ii libpolkit-backend-1-0 0.96-3 PolicyKit backend API ii libpolkit-gobject-1-0 0.96-3 PolicyKit Authorization API ii libsgutils2-2 1.29-1 utilities for devices using the SC ii libudev0 163-2 libudev shared library ii udev 163-2 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo Versions of packages udisks recommends: ii dosfstools 3.0.9-1 utilities for making and checking ii hdparm 9.27-2.1 tune hard disk parameters for high ii mtools 4.0.12-1 Tools for manipulating MSDOS files ii ntfs-3g 1:2010.3.6-1 read-write NTFS driver for FUSE ii ntfsprogs 2.0.0-1+b1 tools for doing neat things in NTF ii policykit-1 0.96-3 framework for managing administrat Versions of packages udisks suggests: pn cryptsetup <none> (no description available) pn mdadm <none> (no description available) pn reiserfsprogs <none> (no description available) pn xfsprogs <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
