Package: gcalctool Version: 5.30.2-1 Severity: normal
Just wanted to confirm that useful radio buttons for "Bin", "Oct", "Dec", and "Hex" are missing from gcalctool in Debian Squeeze (gcalctool 5.30.2-1). Here is a screenshot of gcalctool in scientific mode on Debian Lenny (works): http://daffy.nerius.com/temp/gcalctool-working.jpg Here is a screenshot on Debian Squeeze (scientific mode, not lack of radio buttons: http://daffy.nerius.com/temp/gcalctool-notworking.jpg As you can see, the radio buttons to convert between hex, decimal, and the other bases are missing. I _really_ miss this feature. I use it all the time. I'm pretty sure this is considered "broken". Thanks. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gcalctool depends on: ii gconf2 2.28.1-5 GNOME configuration database syste ii libatk1.0-0 1.30.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libgconf2-4 2.28.1-5 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglib2.0-0 2.24.2-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.20.1-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.28.3-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libxml2 2.7.7.dfsg-4 GNOME XML library Versions of packages gcalctool recommends: ii gnome-icon-theme 2.30.3-1 GNOME Desktop icon theme ii gvfs 1.6.4-2 userspace virtual filesystem - ser ii yelp 2.30.1+webkit-1 Help browser for GNOME gcalctool suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
