Hi Lee, Thanks for your patches. Was there a particular reason that you didn't submit them to rt.cpan.org first? I'm rather wary of adding feature patches to this package without any activity upstream; this is very likely to cause confusion if people begin to make use of these features without realising they are Debian-specific. It does look like the upstream is a bit quiet on the upstream bugtracker; maybe it would be worth pinging them to see what their maintenance plans are for this module.
