Well, I don't know why the cron implementations do not set it up this
way (it would make sense I guess), but it isn't. Of course I can add it
manually to each server where I want to run from cron my VCS of choice
in /etc after initializing with etckeeper.

But I see the VCS config similar to a shell script, I wouldn't want a
shell script depending on me setting up PATH before running it. :)

I don't know if it's possible to upgrade the VCS configs automagically
during an etckeeper run (I guess it's best to leave the files alone),
but I'd prefer the full path for newly initialized directories.

Kind regards
Wolfgang
