I can confirm this is a bug. bootchart_init is meant to start a non-standard
init system (i.e. != /sbin/init), but somehow it doesn't work. I'll investigate
the issue.

I'm raising the severity of this bug because currently bootchart2 can only be
used with initsystems providing /sbin/init.
