Package: meld Version: 0.9.5-1 Followup-For: Bug #313985 I think there is a serious translation error in the german translation of meld. The "copy to right" tooltip in directory compare mode (maybe in others, too) is translated exactly the opposite way! This apparently is still present in upstream, and IMHO due to a bad (= ambiguous) string in the english version...
The button in english says "copy right", meaning copy to right? At least the german button to copy changes to the right says "Von rechts kopieren" (i.e. "copy from right") but does copy TO right! This is a serious translation glitch! -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.13-rc4 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages meld depends on: ii python 2.3.5-3 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-glade2 2.6.2-1 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gnome2 2.10.0-2 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python-gtk2 2.6.2-1 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge meld recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
