Manual page of cuneiform(1) reads: OPTIONS (...) -l LANGUAGE By default Cuneiform recognizes English text. To change the language use the command line switch -l followed by your language string. To get a list of supported languages type "cuneiform -l". Please add information that the language must be supplied in ISO 639-2 format and possibly add an URL to standard name sof code.
