The default config file (bbmail.bb) from upstream has two config settings commented out. They are:
bbmail.withdrawn and bbmail.shape These must be uncommented in order for bbmail to work. A comment in this case is a '!'. Remove them and you should be good to go. You can find the config file bbmail.bb in /usr/share/bbtools.
