Package: hddtemp Version: 0.3-beta15-46 Severity: normal
I am using hddtemp on a PowerPC based Mac mini. I have two drives; /dev/hda which is a PATA drive connected to the interal IDE connector, and /dev/sda which is a USB enclosure containing a SATA drive. The output of hddtemp is as follows: Galadriel:~# hddtemp PATA:/dev/hda SATA:/dev/sda /dev/hda: ST940110A: 39 C /dev/sda: DW CDW02AESD0-S0B2 0: 47 C The reporting of the PATA drive model is correct. The reporting of the (USB) SATA drive model is byte-swapped, as the drive model is actaully "WDC WD20EADS-00S2B0 ". -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-powerpc Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages hddtemp depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.36 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.11.2-6+squeeze1 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii lsb-base 3.2-23.1 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip hddtemp recommends no packages.
