Package: cpufreqd Version: 2.3.3-4 Severity: important Yo. This is an HP Pavilion dv4. I'm running fluxbox, CPU's barely ticking over at 0-1%, yet this (it's presently at C 80):

When demand hits, cpufreqd ought to step cpu freq. to higher freq. to handle demand, yes? All I see is cpu spiking to 100% usage, fan screams even faster, and cpu temp. spikes towards C 90. Why doesn't it ever step the cpu freq. up to 2.10 or 1.05 GHz to handle what 525 MHz is struggling with?
