If it's a SCSI scanner, this isn't the same issue at all; it's just that
we lack its SCSI IDs in our list.

In Squeeze, this is only useful if you are not using a desktop
environment or the environment isn't using ConsoleKit. Other than that,
it should work out of the box.

That fix was NACKed by the release team for Squeeze, thanks, in part, to
the acl maintainers taking too much time to pull their sh*t together
when asked to move 2 binaries from /usr/bin to /bin.
