Subject: po-debconf: Add 'install' rule. Patch included. Package: po-debconf Version: 1.0.16 Severity: normal Tags: patch
*** Please type your report below this line *** 1. We build this package for Fedora: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=591389 2. The attached patch refector the installation logic from debian/rules to the toplevel Makefile, to prevent duplication. It uses the common variables -- DESTDIR, prefix, datadir, etc. 3. Using this patch, the relevant part of debian/rules should be replaced with a simple $(MAKE) DESTDIR=... install [this change is not included in the patch] 4. The patch don't include installtion of man-pages on purpose. This is because debian/rules (rightly) use dh_installman while in Fedora our .spec file has to handle this manually. BTW: after this, debian/rules can be reduced to almost the canonical dh(1) example ;-) -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.6 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
