Package: wakeonlan Version: 0.41-10
It seems that the package is missing a dependency over libperlX.XX (libperl5.10 in current versions). On some very light installation of debian, on routers or firewall for example, this package is not always installed.
If it is not installed no specific output is given to the user, except that the packet is not send.
