Package: nslu2-utils

Severity: normal

Upgrading from a fresh Lenny installation to Squeeze by following the
instructions provided here:
http://www.go2linux.org/how-to-upgrade-from-debian-lenny-to-squeeze prevented
sysv-rc from migrating
to dependency-based boot. The following error message was displayed:

Tests have determined that problems in the boot system exist which prevent
migration to dependency-based boot sequencing:

I'm not sure if everything sysv-rc complains about is provided by nslu2-utils,
but at least the majority should be.
After the full-upgrade went through, I manually ran dpkg-reconfigure sysv-rc,
and this time it worked fine.

I noticed nslu2-utils upgraded after sysv-rc. Could it be possible that the
order of installation was incorrectly determined?

This issue should be repeatable by executing the following steps, starting from
a plain vanilla NSLU2 with stock Linksys firmware:

- install Lenny as per Martin's instructions
(http://www.cyrius.com/debian/nslu2/install.html) using the installer
  from http://www.slug-firmware.net/d-dls.php

- upgrade to Squeeze
(http://www.go2linux.org/how-to-upgrade-from-debian-lenny-to-squeeze)
  # replace all lenny to squeeze in /etc/apt/sources.list
  # aptitude update
  # aptitude install apt dpkg aptitude
  # aptitude full-upgrade
