Aww, this is one of my most used programs.

The userbase of this program is small as you have to have a TV card
and have to live in a country with an EPG provider. That's why the
popcon counter is low. But the people which use the program probably
use it daily like me. It's running permanently on my desktop, scans
the TV program for matching patterns and alerts me when a title fits.
It would be sad when this nice program would disappear from debian.

I have tried to pack the most recent version of nxtvepg (v2.8.1) from
scratch. The package builds, installs and runs cleanly on my lenny box.
It may not fit the debian quality standards yet as I never have made a
debian package before. But I guess with a little help I could finish
the job.

So if you could stop the removal of the nxtvepg package from debian
I could try to provide a new package with the most recent version of
nxtvepg and maintain it.

Regards

Uwe
