Package: xserver-xorg Version: unstable Recently X was updated so that something requires kernel modesetting: (EE) intel(0): No kernel modesetting driver detected.
My thinkpad x60 has problems with kernel modesetting so I cannot use it. This is with a recent kernel. This is frustrating for me since X has started up fine for a while. I would like to request that modesetting be made an option in xorg.conf instead of a requirement, or removed entirely. If it is an option already, then I apologize but I don't know what that option is. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
