Package: speedometer Version: 2.6-3 Severity: important
Forwarded bug from 2008-03-07: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/speedometer/+bug/199547 [Adam Porter] Speedometer leaks memory constantly. Just run it like "speedometer -rx wlan0 -tx wlan0" and run top and watch its RES usage constantly increase by 20-50 kB/sec. This continues forever; the first time I noticed was after speedometer had sucked up a couple hundred MEGS of memory.a - - - [Stephen] I can confirm this bug. The v2.6 (latest version) speedometer code from http://excess.org/speedometer/ also has this bug too. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_DK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_DK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages speedometer depends on: ii python 2.6.6-3 interactive high-level object-orie ii python-urwid 0.9.9.1-1 curses-based UI/widget library for speedometer recommends no packages. speedometer suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
