It seems that SandForce SSDs aren't well supported in smartmontools 5.39.1.

The smart data attributes aren't correct. ID 5 for example is the retired
block count.

The correct values are listed here:
http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?75786-SMART-Attributes-
for-Sandforce-SSD-s-%28Agility2-Vertex2-VertexLE%29

Upstream the attributes were corrected:
http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/smartmontools/wiki

> 2010-08-20: We added support for SSDs with SandForce controller. Only a few
drive models are detected for now. If you have a drive not detected, please
report this to our drive database mailinglist.

An up-to-date drivedb file would fix the wrong attribute names.

Furthermore a new smartmontools version (5.40) with SandForce support is
available:
*
http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/smartmontools/browser/tags/RELEASE_5_40/smartmontools/NEWS
*
http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/smartmontools/query?group=status&milestone=Release+5.40

It would be nice if you could provide support for SandForce SSD (e. g. OCZ
Vertex 2 series).

Thank you.
