Package: gpointing-device-settings Version: 1.5.1-2 Severity: important I just installed the latest gpointing-device-settings from the repo today, 25 October 2010. I am using squeeze. The program forgets that I have tried to turn off the scratchpad when an external pointing device is connected within minutes of being activated. At first I thought I could live with this by putting an icon on the screen and resetting the thing when I needed to, but this is ridiculous! I had synaptiks on PCLINUXOS and never had this problem. I am reporting this problem as severe, since the program is useless as it stands. I just reset the program, and it's only seconds since, and it has failed again already.
