Package: udev
Version: 163-2
Severity: wishlist
File: /etc/udev/udev.conf

Putting udev_log="debug" in /etc/udev/udev.conf
will cause the boot sequence to stall, whereupon one must hit ^C,
ending up with only / mounted, readonly too.

One must
# mount -o remount /
# ed /etc/udev/udev.conf #or vi, removing the udev_log=debug line.
# /sbin/reboot
If one wants to make use of ones computer.
