Technicalities: it seems like your camera didn't store the Exif "orientation" tag, or stored multiple values. In any case, the call to libexiv2 failed when reading that particular metadatum. So I just workarounded it adding a check, you can see the patch at [1]. You might want to link it to the hugin maintainer, if you're going to report a bug (granted, it could be totally unrelated too :)) I'm going to make an upload to experimental for this.
