Package: ssmtp Version: 2.61-3 Severity: normal I installed Etch/Testing, it came with exim3, I replaced that with ssmtp and found I still have /etc/cron.d/exim running commands to run "exim -q" and "/usr/sbin/exim_tidydb". Those should at least be commented out. It's not a big problem, but it looks goofy.
I notice exim4 doesn't fix this either. After replacing ssmtp with exim4, those lines were still there, looking to run exim3 stuff. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-386 Locale: LANG=en_CA, LC_CTYPE=en_CA (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_CA) Versions of packages ssmtp depends on: ii debconf 1.4.57 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7e-3 SSL shared libraries ssmtp recommends no packages. -- Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced.
