Versions of packages xserver-xorg-input-wacom depends on:
ii libc6 2.11.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library:
Shared lib
ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-3 X11 client-side library
ii libxi6 2:1.3-4 X11 Input extension library
ii xserver-xorg-core 2:1.7.7-7 Xorg X server - core server

xserver-xorg-input-wacom recommends no packages.

Versions of packages xserver-xorg-input-wacom suggests:
pn xinput <none> (no description available)

The wacom driver itself is working. This can be verified by
wacdump -f tpc /dev/ttyS1

After finding out how to configure the new xorg 1.7 by
editing /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-wacom.conf and rebooting I got the
follwowing error messages in/var/log/Xorg.0.log:

(II) LoadModule: "wacom"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input/wacom_drv.so
dlopen: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input/wacom_drv.so: undefined symbol:
xf86errno
(EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input/wacom_drv.so
(II) UnloadModule: "wacom"
(EE) Failed to load module "wacom" (loader failed, 7)
(EE) No input driver matching `wacom'

and the same two times more

I think it is an imcompatibility of the (old) wacom driver
0.10.5+20100416-1 with the new xserver-xorg-core 2:1.7.7-7

best regards
