OK.. it seems to be fixed in the main awstats binary
(/usr/lib/cgi-bin/awstats.pl)
but not in the buildstaticpages one
(/usr/share/doc/awstats/examples/awstats_buildstaticpages.pl)
it's in the tools directory upstream, but in the examples directory in
the debian package.
And it's not fixed upstream :
