As the log provided with the bug report sended the 10th October shows the AX200 use the Picture Transfer Protocol, I tried with another tool in order to provide more clues.
I installed the gphoto2 package and used it with the camera. gphoto find a PTP camera, can see the pictures or movies in the camera and extract them to the computer.
