Hi,

[I just managed to plug my PSX controller to my PC, and I am running
unstable, so what follows applies to 0.1.3-1 on unstable]

like you I thought I'd give supertux a try with a joystick, and I had
noticed the absence of a joystick configuration menu in the interface. I
expected to have a hack a bit on this before being able to use it.

But as I was reading the source, and then the README, and then the
command-line arguments, I figured out supertux actually handles
joysticks (I usually check it the other way round, but I launch supertux
from a menu most of the time...). So, basically, if you want supertux tu
use your joystick as is, use the "-j" flag on the command line (more
options are available to alter the mapping).

However, I was wondering why the code seemed to be written but disabled.
I ran it and figured out it is not really functional. I think I have
fixed it; I just have a joypad though, I can't test with other kinds of
joystick, and I'm not 100% sure of the setup menu code.

HTH anyway,
