Today network-manager got updated to 0.8.1-3. I already had plasma-widget-networkmanagement 0.1~svn1175124-1 from unstable installed in my otherwise 100% squeeze system.
Guess what, today openvpn works! Thanks, this is a first since kde4 broke knetworkmanager. This bug could be closed and possibly #530936 as well. But I believe many would be happy to have plasma-widget-networkmanagement 0.1~svn1175124-1 move to testing in time for the squeeze release.
