Why? The tray icon plugin is meant to replace "quit" with a "minimize to
tray" so both are the same.

The difference between close and quit comes when you have multiple
notebooks. One closes the current one only and the other closes them all.

It's called a feature. You're not forced to use that plugin. :-)
