Package: ht Version: 2.0.18-1 Severity: normal Hello,
In ELF files, section headers are not mandatory. The sstrip tool [1] remove a few things strip left out, including section headers. The output file is still a valid ELF and is still runnable by Linux. Howerver, hte thows a "Zero count for section headers" error when trying to open a such file. All I did is comment out "test and thow" instruction in file htelf.cc at lines 155 and 201 to make it almost works. ("elf/image" view is not accessible). regards, Celelibi [1] http://www.muppetlabs.com/~breadbox/software/elfkickers.html -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (995, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (50, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.34.1 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=fr_FR, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ht depends on: ii dpkg 1.15.8.5 Debian package management system ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-5 Manage installed documentation in ii libc6 2.11.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.4.4-8 GCC support library ii liblzo2-2 2.03-2 data compression library ii libncurses5 5.7+20100313-3 shared libraries for terminal hand ii libstdc++6 4.4.4-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-3 X11 client-side library ht recommends no packages. ht suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
