Package: sudo
Version: 1.7.4p4-3
Severity: normal

  Hi there,

  While updating sudo i've found this error, not sure how harmless it is:

Setting up sudo (1.7.4p4-3) ...
tar: *: Cannot stat: No such file or directory
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors

  I've checked sudo.postinst and seems it's because the line:

system ('(cd /var/run/sudo ; tar cf - *) | (cd /var/lib/sudo ; tar xf -)');

  Also maybe it should be checking for /var/run/sudo existence before cd-ing
  into it, because currently that directory it's not present on my system.

  best regards,
