when I start the apcupsd daemon (and it does not crash) then the daemon, ~ every 2 minutes, sends me an email claiming that "Communications restored with UPS " It seems that somehow the USB is getting reinitialized (the strange fact is that I never get a message like "Communications lost" ) This was not happening with the 2.6.26 kernel a. ps: The kernel log contains also a lot of messages "Uncharging too much" http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=580927
