I installed [2], [3], [4] and libglib2.0-0 (2.26.0-1) from experimental, because [2] and [3] need libglib2.0-0 >= 2.25. I started the new daemon several times with dvb scanner enabled and there were no crashes any more, so the patch works I would say.
