I'm not sure an archived Planet is such a great idea; blogs tend to be self-archiving anyway, so a Debian hosted archive seems like it wouldn't add all that much, and would also remove the possibility of updating old posts to provide corrections or links to newer information -- heck, I update many of my posts within a few hours of posting them, either because of obvious errors or feedback; the mailing list model would pointlessly preserve the first draft. I'm not at all sure I'd be happy having my blog republished like that. Cheers, aj
