What you probably want here is automatic removal of unused
dependencies.
would be nice but is mostly achieved by using deborphan. it should only
illustrate the request.
That was pioneered by aptitude
hm. i dont like those frontends (and it drives me nuts if a simple
# apt<TAB>
does not resolve to the apt-* commands ;-).
