Package: opendnssec-signer-tools Version: 1.1.3-1 quicksorter fails when a zonefile has a line containing only whitespace, or whitespace followed by a comment. It displays an "Unknown RR" error for the line, e.g.: # /usr/lib/opendnssec/opendnssec/quicksorter -o rilmarder.org. -f rilmarder.org. -w /dev/null rilmarder.org.:19: Unknown RR: #
This causes signing to fail for the zone. named-checkzone from bind9utils doesn't complain about these lines, and BIND accepts them. It's not clear whether they're valid according to RFC 1035, but I think quicksorter should ignore them like BIND does; if not, it should produce a clear error message. - Michael -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages opendnssec-signer-tools depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-5 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libhsm0 1.1.3-1 library for interfacing PKCS#11 Ha ii libldns1 1.6.6-1 ldns library for DNS programming ii libxml2 2.7.7.dfsg-4 GNOME XML library opendnssec-signer-tools recommends no packages. opendnssec-signer-tools suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
