Hi, I also noticed that accents are broken in POD-based manual pages, the attached patch correct this issue. Note that the second part of the bug report (“provide [...] correctly localized POD-based manpages”) is only solved by this change in po4a/Makefile : - - pod2man --center=" " --release="Debian Utilities" $< > $@ + pod2man --utf8 --center=" " --release="Utilitaires Debian" $< > $@ The other part of the patch works to address the “provide scripts list in translated devscripts(1)” part of the bug report, but there may be nicer way to solve it (I'm not familiar with Makefile).
