I realize 1024D keys are being deprecated, but my application for Debian Maintainership was sent on Fri, 10 Sep 2010 12:36:41 -0400 while the deprecation announcment was sent on Tue, 14 Sep 2010 00:18:48 -0500. So I believe that I fall under the "anybody who is currently a DD or DM, or that has started his application towards becoming one, will be allowed with whatever key they currently have" language.
