Bug#596878: nvidia-kernel-dkms: Hang ups within a few minutes after startup

Can you try a minial xorg.conf:

        Section "Device"
            Identifier     "My GPU"
            Driver         "nvidia"
        EndSection

Everything else should be autodetected by Xorg.
