Is this still a problem? I couldn't find it in upstream bug tracking system. 
Could you try again with 2.3.1-1 (that's important since it will be released 
with squeeze), also try with fresh amarok settings (~/.kde/share/apps/amarok 
~/.kde/share/config/amarok* moved out). Finally, if 2.3.1 fails, try 2.3.2-1 
from experimental.
